#57 Focus on what you’ve got

It is so easy to slip into taking things for granted. And if you’ve slept in a safe bed for a few thousand nights, it can be easy to forget some of the basics.

If you’re worried about money, count up what you have and imagine spending it on ridiculous things. Knowing you’d technically be able to buy 1,000 rubber ducks can be incredibly motivating. If you’re unhappy with a relationship, try focusing on the good parts. It takes practise, but switching your focus can change your whole perspective.
